Mugshot website wants money to remove bad information linking Lake Worth home to felon
Patrick Paige provides insights on the public information available on the internet. A Lake Worth man had been receiving legal notices for an unknown individual at his address. Upon a quick online search of the individual’s name, he found something shocking. His address was publicly listed, along with the mugshot of an unknown woman. Upon asking the site to take down his information, they declined, asking for payment in return for his address removal. Typically, these sights ask for a “ransom” to remove the publicly available information. “Right or Wrong, that information is up there,” says Patrick Paige.
